Ingrid Gotlieb

I have worked as a landscape designer in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. I set up my current business in Wellington in 2003.

I've always cherished gardens as places of beauty, relaxation and inspiration. Wellington is my home. It can be a challenging city to have a garden! However with careful planning it is possible even in the toughest of sites to have a beautiful garden.

I aim to design elegant, affordable gardens that are easy to maintain and do not require watering on a regular basis.

I am a trustee member of the Lilburn Residence Trust which cares for and administers a property in Thorndon, a residence for New Zealand composers. This is a Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Category 1 property. I help manage and maintain the garden on this site.

I am also a member of The Brooklyn Food Group in Wellington, a community group which looks after a number of edible gardens and holds regular workshops on growing food in the urban environment.
